Meet Our President

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as President of the Woman's Club of Plant City.As we approach the Century anniversary of our club, the GFWC is changing and we will change along with it.

Nearly 100 years ago, our club was founded by a group of goal driven women who made a name for themselves in our community. Our job is to continue their legacy and make it grow while serving with happiness and love.

I have prepared a wide array of projects and programs to help us make of our club a strong and united team with new ways to communicate, work, and develop the different service areas.

We will grow and learn while supporting the arts and culture, health and wellness, education and libraries, as well as helping preserve our environment and have civic participation. We will also work on membership recruiting, with special emphasis on membership retention with an integral mentoring program where all of our members will take part. I have formed new committees to helps us organize, create, and also bring a personal and fun touch to our work as a group.

I will work with you to make of our club a place that encourages personal growth, embraces every one of our members, and develops friendship along with serving each other, our community, and beyond.

We all are amazing individual women with very diverse skills, talents, and history, but with something in common... we love our community. We care enough to rise and work, we are strong and beautiful inside and out, and when all of those elements come together, great things can happen.

We are certainly living in a challenging time; we will adjust, create, and re-invent ourselves if we need to. And remember, we have each other... TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
